Analytical Chemist \n\nPertemps are currently recruiting for an Analytical Chemist to join a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Basingstoke, this is a full-time permanent position.\n\nResponsibilities as an Analytical Chemist:\n\nCarry out process control and analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates and end products in support of the manufacturing process. \n\nCarry out testing of samples sent by external customers. \n\nPerform calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.\n\nEnsure that activities carried out are documented accordingly to ensure high quality standards and traceability.\n\nProvide technical support to the manufacturing team \n\nAssist with the preparation and release of certificates on analysis \n\nCarry out laboratory housekeeping\n\nPrepare analytical standards and reagents \n\nRequirements:\n\nEducation or Degree in Chemistry \n\n1 year or more experience in a similar role is advantageous\n\nExcellent computer skills including Excel \n\nExcellent organisational skills \n\nA real interest in Chemistry \n\nComfortable wearing protective clothing and breathing masks for long periods of time\n\nThe Chemist Role:\n\nRotating shifts  \n\nEarly – 6am – 2pm\n\nMid – 9am – 5pm \n\nLate – 11am – 7pm \n\nStarting salary of £28,000 \n\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays \n\nIf you have the required skillset and interested in this Chemist role please do apply below or contact Pertemps
